Laboratorios Tecnológicos de Levante obtains the R&D Management certification

 

Since LABORATORIOS TECNOLÓGICOS DE LEVANTE, S.L. (LTL), a company belonging to the RED CONTROL Group, we was the first company in our sector to be certified by AENOR of the new edition of the UNE Standard 166002:2021: "R&D&I Management: Requirements of the R&D&I Management System". This is a breakthrough for the organization in terms of improving nuestra valuation and reputation, to obtain a greater satisfaction of our clients customers, users and stakeholders and to increase our ability to attract partners and collaborators.

The new knowledge acquired and the new applications developed Nos have allowed us to position ourselves in a prominent place in the market, constantly improving the services offered to our customers.

Aware that R&D&I is a key factor for economic and social development and a critical element that drives business growth and, therefore, its competitiveness, it has implemented an R&D&I Management System following the guidelines of the UNE 166002 standard.

  1. Identification of species by DNA sequencing and qPCR.

  2. Characterization of Biological Communities using Massive Sequencing Techniques (NGS).

  3. Application of molecular tools for studies of inland water quality and biodiversity indices (BIOWAT-KIT and WATDIMON Projects)

  4. Detection and quantification of Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria (ARBS) and Antibiotic Resistance Genes (ARGS).

  5. Detection and quantification of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants. Identification of new variants by bulk sequencing.

  6. New methodologies for the Study of Pollution in Inland Waters.

  7. Characterization of Emerging Contaminants in WWTP Outlet Waters and use of innovative low-cost technologies for their elimination.

  8. Low cost and Environmental Impact Technologies for the Treatment of Fecal Contamination of WWTP Effluents.
