BIOWAT-KIT project led by Laboratorios Tecnológicos de Levante (LTL) starts

 

<span style="color:#777777; font-family:open sans,serif; font-size:10.0pt; line-height:107%; mso-bidi-font-family:" times="" new="" roman";="" mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" mso-fareast-language:es"="">R03;The presentation of the BIOWAT-KIT project "DNA-BASED KIT FOR BIODIVERSITY ASSESSMENTS AND BIOMONITORING OF EUROPEAN WATER BODIES" was held on Wednesday, July 4.

During the same, the project, objectives, partners and expected results were presented in general lines. In addition, there was the presence of experts in the application of new genetic tools in the environmental field, which gave the public a vision of their possibilities of application in the near future.

The presentation was attended by the project partners: GAIAC Institute (Germany), FAUNATICA (Finland) and ALLGENETICS (Spain), representatives of Public Organizations and private engineering companies.

BIOWAT (ref. E! 11892- "BIOWAT-KIT") has received funding from the Eurostars-2 joint program with funding from the CDTI and the European Union Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Framework Program.

For LTL the acceptance of this project at European level in position 23, represents a challenge achieved and also a new development to be achieved.
